Nisargadatta Gita - Message of Nisargadatta Maharaj
with commentary by 'Pradeep Apte'

<< previous quote     next quote >>
On the state of non-beingness, beingness as the I am has occurred, who that is, is not important, the I am is important, stay there.

You were never born, on your unborn state, this knowledge I am has quite spontaneously occurred without any reason, just like a dream spontaneously occurring with no reason and volition at all. The so-called person or who has come to be is of no importance, it is the feeling I am, that too in its wordless nascent state, that is important, you have to reside there.
